Dan started out his professional career as a signal officer in the U.S. Army. In that role, Dan developed strong management skills, the ability to perform under pressure, and a knack for solving highly technical problems. Dan applied those skills when he began his legal career in the Military Justice Division of Fort Gordon’s Office of the Staff Judge Advocate. While there, Dan specialized in handling military separation boards from start to finish and supervising complex disciplinary and other investigations. Dan also assisted with Equal Employment Opportunity cases and courts-martial. Dan graduated from the Citadel and Duke University School of Law.
Dan brings all of the skills he developed in the Army to each and every case, and he is a tireless advocate committed to solving even the most complex problems as an associate attorney at Terpening Law.
