Bio: McKensey has spent her entire legal career at Terpening Law, during which time she has grown from the Firm’s legal assistant into her role as the firm’s lead paralegal and office manager. McKensey is the first point of contact that many clients have with the firm, and works diligently to promote our clients’ interests every day, both in court and in the office.

Brittney M. Slade
Bio: Brittney received her undergraduate degree in Political Science and History from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Brittney went on to earn her JD and MS from Appalachian School of Law, located in the beautiful mountains of Grundy, Virginia.
Prior to joining Terpening Law, Brittney served as an Associate Attorney for a Private Criminal Defense and Family Law Firm named Moheb Legal Defense, PLLC, in Roanoke, Virginia. In her role, Brittney navigated multiple criminal legal issues, while focusing on protecting the rights and future of her clients with careful attention to detail, thorough investigation, and unyielding commitment.
In her free time, Brittney enjoys traveling with her husband, playing tennis, and spending time with her family.
License: Brittney is licensed to practice law in Virginia and has been admitted to the United States District Court, Western District of Virginia.
